If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I’ve just updated the PromotionBot homepage to reflect the new monthly subscription charge, and sent out a subscriber discount to anyone who is already a subscriber. (If you’ve missed it, sorry, but that’s how the subscriber offer works – see the “Announcement List” box at http://www.automateyourbusiness.com/updates/ to receive news on future discounts).

So if the initial one-time fee was too high for you, take a look at http://www.promotionbot.com for the monthly pricing.

Congratulation for your promotion bot s/w !! finally release to public..

however i wonder if your plan is to make it become social bookmarking s/w or your blue print is still towards to se-nuke alternatives ? i’ll try and give the review.. for now i believe the function only for social bookmarking, right.. i’ll compare to BMD.. if you run WSO please blast in the newsletter.. i’ll be happy to be in the thread.

    Best of 2010 !

    Hi Viktor,

It’s absolutely still my plan to do all sort of promotion, in the same way as SENuke. So social bookmarking, social networking account creation (eg, accounts on Twitter, Digg, etc) and updating, article marketing, etc. As mentioned a few times on this site, PromotionBot is in it’s early days and so it’s limited compared to the competition, but it’ll get there in the end.

I’ve got to admit, the SENuke team are pretty good at coming out with enhancements, and at the moment, there’s just me working on PromotionBot, so I won’t be as fast initially. So I need to balance my time between adding features, and promoting it. Once I’ve promoted it sufficiently, and got enough customers in the door, I’ll be able to hire a developer (even if it’s only part-time) to speed up the enhancement additions. But if I spent too much time on adding features, I won’t promote enough and so won’t get enough customers and so won’t earn enough to pay for the developer. So I’ll be doing my best to add functionality, whilst also building enough income through the software so that I can fund extra developer(s).

However, SENuke are not the only competition in town. As well as some of the older tools like Bookmarking Demon, there are a slew of similar pieces of software opening up. In fact, there are two that I know of in the Warrior Forum alone.

It’ll be interesting to see how things turn out with each of these pieces of software, as some of them are charging only a one-off fee.

    Regards,
    Andy
