OK, 5 products.
One sold no copies (the “toast popup” software), but I’m not surprised at that.
The “Health/Beauty PLR Report” sold very very few copies. Certainly less than I expected.
The two email marketing reports sold pretty well (and still generate a sale or two every day).
The $1 WSO is still selling well.
All in all, I’ve cleared slightly under $1000 dollars. Maybe a bit over that by the time the WSOs hit there 3 week limit and are deleted.
That’s not bad for a few hours work!
And I’ve still got a few more products which are close to finishing – they just need more time to either bring up to date, or to test software and write user manuals.
Another WSO product, this time about WSOs themselves. I discovered something during the sale of the Email Marketing Checklist and Through The Roof PLR reports, which resulted in a 45% increase of sales.
So I quickly wrote it into a report today, and that’s just gone live for a massive $1.
It’s a little test…
This is another product that didn’t do as well as I expected when I first launched it a couple of years ago, and again in the last month or so.
The only thing I can attribute it to is my copywriting. After all, what’s exciting about a checklist? I think I needed a snazzier title. Ah well, water under the bridge.
So I’ve de-personalised it a bit (it contained some references to my own sites) and have put it up as another WSO with PLR rights. It’s a bit sad to see it go to PLR, as it’s one of my favourite own reports. But I might as well get some benefit on it, as I’ll be heads down on one major project soon (which is why I’m haveing the 1PDD week).
And so far, it’s going quite well.
Indeed, it’s a natural complement to the Drive Your Subscriber Count Through The Roof report. The “Roof” report shows you how to fill your list with ready-to-buy people; the “Checklist” report shows you how to get the most out of them.
Maybe I should do a case study and sell the two reports together as a package?
So… the WSO is live, and about 1/3 or 1/4 of the people buying the Email Marketing Checklist PLR are going on to purchase the Roof PLR as well, which is nice.
OK, day 3, and it’s 1:40pm already. My real job was busy this morning, so it’s time to get into action with something I can do REAL quick. Normally, my girlfriend picks up our son from nursery on the way home from work, but she can’t do that today, so I’m doing it, which means I’ve got about 2 hours left this afternoon, and I can probably squeeze in 2-3 hours tonight before bed.
There’s one idea I’ve had for a while, in the health/beauty niche. I’ve outlined the report, but not written it, and I’ve got a domain name for it.
I’m torn between
A) Selling the PLR in the WSO forum to multiple customers, and selling the domain to only one of them at a fixed price.
B) Selling the PLR in the WSO forum, and then later having an auction for the domain name for those customers only
C) Selling the PLR to only one person who gets sole rights over it and the domain name.
So, I’ve posted a question stating this, and asking for suggestions/recommendations, in the WSO forum here.
I’ll go away and write the report whilst I wait for some sensible answers.
Day 2.
This is a report I wrote.. oh, God … years ago. It was well received by the people who got it, and I recently used it’s principles when I wrote and released in response to an article by Allan Gardyne.
I’ve re-released it a couple of times since, but to no great shakes. So, given the popularity of reports sold with private label rights on the Warrior Forum, I’m going to go that route. (Private label rights are where the person can use the content in any way they see fit).
