Cookie Manager User Manual
I designed the Cookie Manager to do one thing, but do it well: to protect my existing Internet Explorer
cookies whilst allowing me to do mass-creation of accounts on various sites. I wanted to keep those cookies that
automatically log me into forums, blogs, and other websites, without having them interfere with the account
creation I was doing, and vice versa.
The first step to using the software is obviously to install it. The file you've downloaded is the installer
file, so if you are familiar with installing software, you can just run the file.
Once it's installed, and before you want to start mass-creating your accounts, you'll want to create a backup of
your current cookies.
Additionally, some of those sites set cookies each time you create an account, which then prevent you creating
another account, so after you've created the backup, you can then freely delete your current IE cookies whenever
you need to. This allows you to create as many accounts as you need to, just deleting the cookies whenever you get
a message saying that "you've already created an account, so you can't create another one". (NB: see the note below
on proxies).
Once you're finished doing the account creation, it's time to restore your original cookies. This will allow you
to carry on using your browser as before, where your cookies allow you to automatically log into forums and other
sites, remember settings that you might have configured from some sites, remember which popup windows you've seen
already (and so prevent them from appearing again), and so on.
Eventually, you might have a few backups saved, and you'll want to get rid of some of the backups.
And that's it!
Like I said, the software is meant to do one thing, and do it well. I hope you find it useful.
Note on Proxies: Some sites will not only set cookies on your PC, they will also monitor the IP
address your PC is running on. The best way to change this is by using proxies, and that's not what this software
is about. You'll need to find another way to manage proxies, such as using the Tor software, or a proxy service
like http://www.yourprivateproxy.com/
