Caffeinated Content Scheduler FAQs

Here are some frequently asked questions (and their answers) about the Caffeinated Content Scheduler.

Q. Do I need to have the Caffeinated Content plugin already, or does it come with the scheduler?
A. They are two seperate products, by two different people, so yes, you do need to get the plugin first.

Q. Doesn't Caffeinated Content itself contain some sort of scheduler?
A. No. Each time you want to upload content, you have to do it manually. It DOES schedule the posts in WordPress (eg, it spreads 10 new posts over the next 7 days), but it won't run itself automatically again at the end of that 7 days - you'll have to log in and run the upload again.

Q. Will Caffeinated Content for WordPress have a scheduler in future?
A. I've no idea. But... even if it does, it'll still mean having to monitor and set up scheduling on each blog seperately.

Plus, I would guess it's unlikely that the Caffeinated Content plugin will have the ability to run multiple schedules (pulling content from different sources) any time soon, even if it does have a scheduler added.

Q. What's the upgrade policy for the scheduler?
A. You'll get all upgrades, free of charge. I'll be honest, and suggest that I won't be adding a huge amount of functionality to the scheduler in the future. I'll simply be keeping up to date with changes to the WordPress plugin, and tweaking the existing functionality.

That's the way all my planned software products will work - "do one thing, and do it well." That helps me keep development time down, and support problems to a minimum, which then helps keep the cost lower than the $100s that some software sells for.

Just make sure you subscribe to the mailing list that you are presented with after you purchase, as that's the only way to guarantee I can get in touch with you.

Also, just to make you aware, I actually use the scheduler. It's not just something that I created because I thought other people might like it. So as soon as I can think of something to add to it to make it even better, I'll get right onto it.

Q. Am I open to suggestions about added functionality?
A. Of course. Just let me know.

Q. Can you order without a Paypal account?
A. Yes, but I am only accepting payment via Paypal. But that means you can pay by credit card, debit card, or bank account (depending on the services that Paypal off in your country). Just use the normal order link till you get to Paypal, and then decide to either create an account or pay via another method.
