Setting Up The Templates

There are three parts to creating the template that AYB Autoblogger uses to populate your blog, as detailed below. But first you should be aware that the software can select a template at random from a number of templates that you set up.

If you want multiple templates, simply create a series of template files in the "templateswp" folder in the installation location. You can name the files anything you like, as long as they end in .html.

So you could name them "1.html", "2.html", etc. Or "bluebackground.html", "tabularlayout.html", "noimage.html".

If you only want one template, then only put one HTML template in that folder.

  1. Add the data tags to populate the template with the details of your data file from OdditySoftware.
  2. Add the content-spinning mark-up to allow the AYB Autoblogger to randomly vary your text (within chosen limits) to produce a greater percentage of unique content for each post published.
